JAMMU, June 8: A meditational session ‘Har Ghar Dhyan’ has been organised by the Department of Students Welfare in collaboration with School of Humanities and Liberal Arts and active support of Prof. Bechan Lal, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu.
The ‘Har Ghar Dhyan’ is a collaborative initiative of The Art of Living and Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The session was conducted by a nationally acclaimed trainer of The Art of Living, Rohit Ranjan, who briefed the students about the significance of meditation and benefits of mindfulness.
Dr. Ranvijay Singh, Dean Students Welfare started the session with his welcome address. Dr. Monika Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Dr. Reena Salaria, Coordinator, Department of Linguistics, Faculty and students of the School were also present during the session.
Ajay Kapoor, State Coordinator-Bureau of communications and projects, The Art of Living concluded the session by highlighting the need of meditation in the present scenario.
