JAMMU, May 8: President of the women wing of Hindu Mahasabha, Seema Mahajan, today said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s today’s statement that only some distracted youth of the Valley are involved in stone pelting and protests shows that she has gone in defensive mode.
She said there is no one denying the fact that the surcharged security scenario calls for all out efforts to neutralize the tension in Kashmir as due to Pakistani sponsored proxy war and the support that is being extended by the Hurriyat Conference, situation has gone on a very different track wherefrom it seems rarely catchy, said Seema Mahajan.
Further, she said that MoS PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh’s statement that the Kashmir issue is settled beyond any debate leaves very less scope for a political dialogue, which among other reformative measures is vital as without taking into confidence all political as also other stake holders, it will not be possible to conclude for a formidable and everlasting peace.
