CM grieved over death of 2 RS Pura persons in Nepal

SRINAGAR, Apr 26: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today expressed grief over the death of two persons from RS Pura in the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday.
In his condolence message, Mufti Sayeed conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families in their moment of grief and prayed for peace to the departed souls.
The Chief Minister directed both the Divisional Commissioners to remain in touch with the concerned agencies and ascertain the safety of the citizens of J&K in Nepal.
The deceased persons have been identified as Khajaan Singh and Parvinder Singh, both residents of Simbal Morh, RS Pura.
All the residents of J&K, relatives of whom have been affected by the earthquake in Nepal, have been advised to contact the helpline numbers available in the office of the Principal Resident Commission, J&K, 5-Prithvi Raj Road, New Delhi: 011-24611210, 24611108, 24615475 and 24653913.
Help, if any, sought or required by the residents of J&K coming back from Nepal by the flight of Air India or aeroplane of Air Force may also contact for help on these numbers.
Meanwhile, a telephone helpline on 0194-2456600, 2450004, has also been established in Police Control Room (PCR), Srinagar, for all those people whose relatives or friends are in Nepal and are worried about their welfare. PCR will be in touch with the Union Ministry of External Affairs to get to know the whereabouts of all those citizens of J&K who are in Nepal.
