CM, JCC members’ meet today

JAMMU, June 2: The Government has invited the senior JCC members to discuss and resolve the pending issues  of the State employees.
Sources told the Excelsior that meeting between Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and some of his Ministers, is being held with the senior members of the Joint Consultative Committee of the Sate employees at TRC complex near MLA Hostel in Srinagar at 2 pm on Tuesday.
The pending issues of the employees including enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies, regularisation of daily rated and consolidated workers are likely to be discussed in tomorrow’s meeting.
A  JCC members confirmed that senior leader Abdul Qayoom Wani, received a telephonic message from the CM’s office this evening regarding tomorrow’s meeting. He said that senior members including Khursheed Alam and a few from Jammu are also likely to attend the meet.
