JAMMU, Sept 10: Shah Eye Care Centre in association with ALCON Surgicals organized a CME on latest Phaco trends, here.
Eminent Ophthalmologists of Jammu Dr Anil Mahajan, Dr Dinesh Gupta, Dr Sanjay Sachdeva, Dr RD Sood, Dr Satish Gupta, Dr Dinesh Malhotra, Dr Amarjeet Bali, Dr Deepak Kapoor and young ophthalmologists graced the meet and gave their valuable insight to the latest and upcoming technologies in eye care.
Dr Syed Zeeshan Ahmed, Dr Tanpreet Singh from Jammu and Dr Suraj Bajwa from Punjab spoke on the various advances in Phacoemulsification surgery.
Phacoemulsification surgery is the most advance form of surgery in the treatment of cataract. Latest trends like newer Phaco machines (Alcon Legion) and newer Intraocular lenses (Clareon) were the main agenda of discussion.
Dr Syed Liaqet Hussain, MD Shah Eye Care Centre, while speaking on the occasion, said that they introduced the State of Art Phaco machine ALCON Legion in 2022 and are committed to provide the most advanced eye care in Jammu region.
