CME on liver problems organised in Rajouri

JAMMU, Dec 19: A Continuous Medical Education (CME) awareness programme on liver problem, which is often ignored with majority of people being unaware about it was organised in Rajouri district.
The conference was organised on the repeated request from the doctors of Rajouri, Government hospital and local people, who were present in the CME.
The guest lecture was delivered by renowned gastroenterologist Dr Shoket Choudhary of the Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, who has done his specialty from PGI Chandigarh and has the honour of working in one of the largest and renowned liver Centre at Pittsburgh, USA.
Doctors of Rajouri expressed their desire that similar kind of CME should be organised again in the district for the benefit of the people.
Dr Shoket delivered a thought provoking lecture on the liver problems, which he said were curable with preventions and timely medical treatment. He called upon the patients with liver problems not to hesitate from taking immediate advice of the doctors in case of any problem.
