JAMMU, May 20: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Ramban has refuted the viral social media video claiming cows in OPD of District Hospital Ramban.
Responding to DC Ramban’s enquiry the CMO in his report stated that as the main gate of the hospital has been removed because of the construction work going on for the residential blocks and it is also not possible for administration to man the gates as the hospital is frequented by the patients and their attendants.
He said that taking advantage of this someone might have pushed the cows into the OPD premises of the hospital but the Trauma Ward has such a location that cows cannot reach there as the Trauma Ward is also guarded by cops round the clock.
The CMO also refuted that cows were in COVID Ward of the hospital and said that the video was made with aim to tarnish the image of the health institution.
