JAMMU, Nov 23: Sandeep Mehta, SSP, and Commanding Officer of IRP 11th Battalion today adorned a newly promoted DySP(M), Fayaz Ahmed, with his new rank insignia in a simple yet dignified function on the sidelines of Darbar Nafri at Achabal, Anantnag.
Earlier in the day, Commandant Mehta led a grievance redressal camp for jawans and officers (Darbar) of E-Coy.
Attending to the genuine problems voiced by the personnel, he promptly directed concerned officers to prioritize and address the issues.
During deliberations, he underscored the need for officials and officers to work with unwavering zeal and dedication, emphasizing the shared goal of the J&K Police – maintaining law & order and fostering a peaceful atmosphere for the public.
While measures are actively being taken for the welfare of jawans and officers, Commandant Mehta urged the assembled personnel to contribute to the pride of the organization. Congratulating the newly promoted DySP(M), he expressed hope that the officer would bring enthusiasm and honor to the role.
Commandant Mehta, in his address, anticipated that the promotion would instil a renewed spirit of public service in the promoted officer. The presence of DyCOs, Company commanders of the Battalion, and representatives from the CRPF and SHO Achabal added significance to the occasion.
