SAMBA, July 12: Ex MLA and senior NPP leader Yash Pal Kundal today accused the BJP -PDP coalition for its failure to provide proper security to the Amaranth yatris. During a press conference here today, he  blamed coalition for its  totally failure to provide cover security for the yatris due to which several vehicles were broken by the stone pelters in the Valley.
He said that the peaceful conduct of Shri Amaranth yatra is the duty of both centre and State governments. But both are working directionless and miserably failed to protect the lives and property of the common man and became mute spectators. The Government failed to respond appropriately to the situation created in the wake of killing of Hizb Commander and the resultant turbulence witnessed in the Valley.
Before the Eid Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti  released 634 stone pelters in the Valley which was the root cause of stone pelting on Amarnath yatris , he added.
He accused the BJP Ministers for maintaining silence over the big issue. He alleged the State Government was encouraging the stone pelters and anti national elements in the Valley which is not in the interest of the nation.
He urged the government to provide proper security to the Amaranth yatris and if any harm is caused to any yatri, then the Panther Party will come to the streets.
Among others present including, Arun Khajuria, Manoj Kumar Sharma, Minku and Raman Singh.
