Coalition Govt failed to restore peace in State: Mankotia

UDHAMPUR, Apr 4: Panthers Party’s State president, Balwant Singh Mankotia, has blamed the PDP-BJP coalition Government for its failure to restore normalcy and peace in the State.
Mankotia said that incident of militant attacks have been increased in past few days which shows the inability of the coalition Government to deal with the situation.
While addressing series of rallies at various villages like Ghordi, Barmen, Laad, Amba Laid, Kaldi, Hatryan and Langa for seeking statehood status for Jammu region, Mankotia said that BJP-PDP coalition Government has adopted policy to rehabilitate militants killed in encounters by providing Government job and 5 lakh to their family members but has no such policy for family members of army, security force jawans who laid down their lives for the State and country which is lowering the moral of the army and security force jawans.
Pathers Party president alleged that State and Central Government is ignoring the youth of Jammu region who are serving in Kashmir in different security agencies and laying down their lives for nation so that Jammu and Kashmir will remain part of country.
“But unfortunately Central Government remains more concerned about people of Kashmir ignoring patriot Jammu people and which is the main reason that voice of separate Jammu statehood getting momentum”, Mankotia added. Later, Mankotia constituted Panthers Statehood committees at Panchayat level in various panchayats.
