Coalition misusing State machinery: Gupta

Excelsior Correspondent

JAMMU, Apr 1:  Contemp-orary political parties of State are having no agenda or will to take this trouble -torn State to path of prosperity and progress. Instead these parties are exploiting the people in the name of religion, secessionism and other sensitive issues only to gather the votes.
This was stated by JKDF State president and candidate for Doda-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency Anil Gupta while addressing public meetings at various places in Udhampur district today.
He said corruption rules the roost in the State. The ruling coalition is not willing to provide the political space to other groups for its own survival and thus misuses State machinery to meet its own interests. These parties are even not hesitating to compromise with the sovereignty and integrity of State with Union of India just only to mislead the people of this State by making false promises.
Stressing for dire need to change the trend of  voting on party lines, Gupta said this constituency has witnessed the representation of Congress Party from last 10 years, but instead starting taking steps for development and seeking  people friendly packages from Center for the region, the Congress representative even failed to connect with the people during his tenure.
He said even the developmental works started during the tenure of Prof. Gupta were deliberately shelved due to party considerations. Moreover, the so called representative failed to maintain the pace of development and public interest schemes which Prof Gupta introduces during his three turns as MP from this constituency, he added.
Gupta while holding series of public meetings at Ram Nagar in  Udhampur District and Dayala Chak, Nagri-Parole and  Budhi in Kathua Said, Last three decades of Indian polity   have also witnessed the rise of regional forces at local levels which  deliver better for the welfare of people and the area. The so called puppets of  Nationalist parties are functioning as the franchisee of private Limited Company who have no feel or understanding of local issues and public sentiments.
With the support of people I will take this struggle forward  till goals are achieved. I appeal the people to throw these parties out and vote for the  candidates  who really deliver on ground, instead of papers.
On the occasion, Bishan Lal has been appointed as election incharge of JKDF for Bhaderwah area.
