Coalition partners, BJP lost credibility among masses: Reen

JAMMU, Dec 10: Alleging coalition partners of deceiving masses on different platforms, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) contesting candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment, Amrik Singh Reen today said that both the coalition partners and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have lost credibility among the masses.
Conducting door to door campaign and addressing meetings at Chatha Pind, Nanak Nagar, Chatha and other places, Reen said NC-Congress is trying to befool masses as nearing end of the six years long coalition, both NC and Congress leaders have started leveling serious allegations against each other for different failures for which they are responsible jointly.
“Reposing faith in democracy, people voted in large in the third phase of polling solely to uproot the corrupt leaders who made history of scandals during their joint sharing in Government for the last six years”, he added.
Attacking BJP leadership in the State, Reen said that BJP leaders have fielded some new candidates replacing their senior leaders who were involved in the infamous cross-voting scam but the new faces are also the Xerox copies as they don’t have any agenda of their own other than wooing voters using the religious statements and trumpeting the name of Narendra Modi.
Calling the incumbent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency a rumour monger, Reen said that he used to paste only hoardings to claim the so called development but knowing the grass root level problems, it is evident that during his long tenure in the Government as Minister, no Government policy has benefitted the people in general.
Reen fervently appealed voters to strengthen the hands of PDP in the Assembly elections by voting in large and ensure the victory of all the PDP candidates.
