Coalition safeguarded public interest: Kichloo

Kishtwar, Apr 6: Minister of State for I&C, R&B, Tourism and Home Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today said that Coalition Government lead by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah always safeguarded the public interest during his over five year tenure despite the odd problems faced by the state on law and order front.
While addressing series of public meetings and road shows at Cherji, Kwartangi, Dool, Bandrina, Huller and adjoining areas of Kishtwar town, Kichloo said that the good always triumps over bad and added that despite all their efforts the forces who want to hoodwink the peace and tranquility of the state fail in their mission. He said that Coalition Government lead by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah always talks about peace and development of the state and said that same can be witnessed on ground.
He said that State Govetment on one side is facing the threat from anti national elements and at the same time from communal elements who tries to put state on fire.  He said that under present regime, the state is moving fast towards development and added that Coalition Government always put main thrust on development of rural areas.
He said that Government of India has accorded sanction to the funds for upgradation of Malipath to Kuleed Chowk road and added that once the weather improves,  the GREF authorities will start work on this road stretch.  He said that Government has taken strong note of use of sub standard material in construction of Batote-Doda-Kishtwar National Highway and assured the people that guilty will be punished in accordance to law.
He urged the people of the state to vote in favour of coalition candidates so that the development agenda set by NC-Congress Government could be implemented and achieved in real senses. He also urged the people to vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad for better future of the state and particularly for Kishtwar.
