Coalition vitiated social, political atmosphere in J&K: Mir

RAJOURI, Feb 1: President, JKPCC G.A. Mir has blamed PDP-BJP coalition for vitiating social and political atmosphere in the State to serve their vested political interests which has resulted into a complete uncertainty at all levels in the State.
PCC Chief was speaking in a day long convention of district Congress Committee, Rajouri. The convention was also addressed by senor vice president, Sham Lal Sharma, former MP Madan Lal Sharma, vice president, Raman Bhalla, chief spokesperson, Ravinder Sharma, general secretaries, Shabir Ahmed Khan &  Ch. Shah Nawaz ,  Ex-MLA Ashok Sharma, DCC president Sain Rashid, Iqbal Malik, Ch. Gani, Pranav Shagotra (PYC), Neeraj Kundan (NSUI), Gurdarshan Singh, Gajan Singh and others.
G.A. Mir said besides, the deteriorating situation in the State, BJP- PDP is responsible for creating social and political uncertainty stating that they can go to any extent to remain in power, while the approach of the both coalition partners is totally contradictory on all sensitive issues, but despite that they want to remain cling to power at the cost of overall interests and wishes of the people of State. He said that the coalition partners are deliberately creating hurdles in the peace and development  of the State by doing politics on sensitive issues, as a result, the situation in the State especially in Valley continues to deteriorate, which is a matter of great concern.
PCC Chief expressed concern over the disturbing socio political scenario obtaining out of misrule and mismanagement by PDP -BJP coalition in the State, G.A. Mir  blamed the coalition for failing to create congenial peaceful atmosphere and rather they are creating social and political disorder after having failed to control the worst security situation on borders as well as in  the Valley.
Describing the Congress party, as the only secular and unifying force in the Country and State, G.A. Mir said that Congress Party has always strengthened the secularism and it will continue to safeguard the secular fabric of the country and State.
Addressing the meetings, senior vice president, Sham Lal Sharma hit out at the BJP for misleading people on every count just to share power with PDP, as that, despite the contradiction in the approach of PDP -BJP, the coalition partners are sharing power by not caring about urges and aspirations of the people.
Madan Lal Sharma senior party leader said that BJP  will never succeed to implementing their communal  and divisive agenda neither in the country nor in the State, as that, people  of J&K being mature enough have realized that BJP -PDP are two sides of  the same coin generating controversies out of certain sensitive issues, as part of match fixing.
Raman Bhalla  said that Congress party will make PDP -BJP accountable and answerable to people and it will continue to fight for people’s rights, while blaming BJP for its failure to represent the aspirations of the people of Jammu region whom they had promised lot many things on different slogans.
He said the promises made by the BJP during elections proved totally hollow as it failed to translate them into actions. He said the border people have suffered more during BJP rule and there is no concrete policy for them. Same is case with common masses in the State as well as country. He said only Congress can guarantee peace and prosperity of the nation.
Ravinder Sharma  demanded permanent solution to the sufferings of border area people of Nowshera in view of continue cease fire violations and hostility of Pakistan towards India.
Shabir Ahmed Khan and Ashok Sharma also addressed the convention.
