NEW DELHI, Nov 2: Coconut oil traded marginally higher by Rs 10 per tin in an otherwise steady oils and oilseeds market today on scattered demand.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Traders said scattered demand from retailers helped coconut oil prices to trade marginally higher.
In the national capital, coconut oil prices rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,360-1,410 per tin.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,100-1,250.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 8,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 2,000-2,050, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,400, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,280-1,360, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,365-1,465, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,700, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,400, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,100, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,500, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,600, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,500, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,100, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin)1,360-1,410.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 6,750, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,350-9,450, Neem 5,200-5,300, Rice Bran 3,1700-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175. (PTI)
