BASHOLI, June 25: Colonel Mahan Singh (Retd.), DDC Chairman inaugurated the black topping work of the Mann to Pathiyara 3 km Road under NABARD, here today.
The project is crucial for providing road connectivity to over 20,000 rural residents. Constructed at a cost of Rs 4.98 crore, the road will offer a shorter route for the people of Plakh, Pretha, Plassi, and Plahi panchayats to and from Basohli Sub District Headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion, Col. Mahan Singh expressed his gratitude to PM Narendra Modi, MoS PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, and LG Manoj Sinha for their focus on improving rural infrastructure and the living conditions of people in remote areas. He also commended the landowners for donating their valuable land free of cost for the project.
He emphasized the critical importance of infrastructure projects in enhancing regional connectivity and stimulating the local economy. By improving transportation and accessibility, these projects pave the way for increased trade, tourism, and investment, thereby creating job opportunities and fostering economic growth.
