Colonels Colony residents discuss precautions for safety of households

JAMMU, Sept 24: Colonels Colony Residents Welfare Association held an emergent meeting of its members, here today, in light of recent theft in one of the households in the colony, which is a few meters away from Satwari Police Station and near well lit Jammu airport.
Convener and legal advisor of Association, Adv Ajay Singh Sahi stated that the matter has been raised before appropriate authorities and hopefully action will be taken by them.
Colonel Virender Kumar, Patron of the Association, advised all members to take various kinds of precautions to ensure safety of their households and family.
Rakesh Vaid, president of the Association and Rattan Singh, Vice president, suggested deployment of Chokidars during night in the colony at personal expenses, which was agreed upon by one and all.
The meet also requested Corporator Cantonment Board to ensure covering of drains as it was breeding mosquitoes. Others present in the meeting, included Ravinder Singh Rozy, Col Dutta, Satish Jain, Mukesh Sharma, Manjit Singh, Amarjeet Singh Nagra, Krishan Sharma, Raj Kumar Verma and others.
