Come forward to establish stable Govt : Luthra

JAMMU, Dec 11: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) and NC candidate from Jammu East constituency Bimla Luthra said that the time has come when people should come forward in a big way participate in the democratic exercise to establish a strong, sincere, stable and people-friendly Government in the Jammu and Kashmir.
She stated this while addressing public meetings at Savoy Hotel, Bawa Wali Gali and Vikram Chowk area of Ward Number 19 in Jammu East Assembly constituency.
While urging the women to participate in the Assembly elections, she described women as strong support base of National Conference (NC).
Women always got opportunities in decision making, be it in Panchayats and other democratic institutions, she asserted.
Highlighting the prolific policies of NC and deliberating upon its future endeavours to ensure comprehensive development, Luthra said that NC has a proven record of working on pro-people agenda.
She added that NC has got many welfare schemes in offing to ensure inclusive development of Gandhi Nagar Constituency. She said that continuing with its policies this time also NC has provided mandate to educated and honest candidates for ensuring comprehensive development of the three regions of the State.
Luthra said that NC has a track record of respecting the aspirations of people especially the youth by countering successfully all the hindrances and obstacles.
She said her party has taken pioneering and revolutionary measures for promoting female literacy and empowering them in socio-economic spheres.
Vowing to work diligently for the people of Jammu East constituency, MLA sought mandate from the locals for ensuring development, empowering youth and creating quality edifice which will continue to serve coming generations.
