Committed to change face of Ramnagar: Pathania

UDHAMPUR, Oct 11: While addressing a series of largely attended public grievances redressal camp cum officers’ meet at Majalta and Keyar, and dedicating newly macadamised Majalta-Tajoor road to public, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, said that about 100 crore have been pumped in to improve the road network in the Ramnagar constituency.
Fact remains that Majalta-Tajoor road was in shambles and it was the long pressing demand of the public to improve this road. The macdamisation/ black-topping of this road will not only benefit the public of Manwal and Tajoor but this road also acts as a connecting link for Dhar road to Pinger, Dhar road to Tajoor, Manwal to Khurga and Manwal to Satriari.
While dedicating this road to public, Pathania informed that 50 mm + 20 mm tar coal has been laid and this road has been macdamised as per the credible standards and also carries a liability of 3 years for the contractor agency.
Later, Pathania kick started macadamisation/blacktopping work on Majalta-Plater and Nanoti to Chiryahi Nallah. While speaking on the occasion, Pathania said that no compromise on the quality of the work is expected. He asked the executing agencies to strictly adhere to the quality standards and time schedule for completion.
Earlier during the day, Pathania convened public grievance redressal camp cum officers’ meeting at Majalta and Keyar where common grievances of the public related to water, electricity, roads, ration, etc were raised and redressed satisfactorily on the spot.
Pathania announced a new Water Supply Reservoir for Majalta town to meet ever increasing demand of potable water in the town. While reacting to the complaint regarding misappropriation of water pipes on Khuber-Nagain Pilot project, Pathania directed Tehsildar Majalta for conducting an enquiry in to the matter and bring the facts to fore.
