KATHUA, Feb 19: Maintaining that implementation of various developmental activities undertaken by the Government has been fast-paced and is being regularly monitored, MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia on Sunday said it is the endeavor of the Government to ensure time-bound completion of works so that people get benefitted.
The MLA was addressing impressive gatherings after inauguration of construction of lane/drain under Municipal Committee, Parole from Batti Morh to Ward 8 and from Batti Morh to Ward 10.
MLA said due to the sustained efforts of the Government much headway has been achieved in ensuring time bound completion of the developmental initiatives undertaken in various sectors. He said necessary instructions have already been passed to the executing agencies to hold regular meetings by which the pace of implementation of these works can be gauged and their completion within the stipulated time lines ensured. He said that the present dispensation is committed for equitable development of all sections of the society and has launched various flagship programmes in this regard. He said that the Union Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been providing liberal funding to the State for accelerating developmental and economic activities adding that Kathua constituency is being developed in all respects to develop it on modern lines.
The MLA further assured the people that pace of development in his constituency shall steadily accelerate further in all fields but the people should keep an eye on the quality work. He said that any shortcoming may be brought into his notice for corrective measures and action against the erring officials.
Jasrotia said that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure that public money is spent only for adding facilities to the general people. He apprised the people that there was no constraint of funds for completing the ongoing projects in a time bound manner. He also informed that a comprehensive plan has been formulated for up-gradation and expansion of basic facilities to provide all infrastructural facilities to the people of constituency. He sought cooperation of the people in implementing the development programmes on ground level.
Calling upon youth to derive maximum benefit from employment schemes, he enjoined upon the youth to inculcate spirit of entrepreneurship and look beyond Government sector for jobs.
