RAMBAN, Jan 11: By the order of District Magistrate (DM) Ramban, Additional DM, Harbans Lal Sharma has constituted a four member Committee to ascertain the fact if the medicines are not available at District Hospital (DH) Ramban.
The Committee shall be headed by Giasul Haq, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Ramban who is made chairman of the Committee.
Other three members of the Committee are Dr. Kamal Zadoo, Chief Medical Officer, Ramban; Deepak Kumar, District Treasury Officer, Ramban and Dr. Varinder Trisal, MS DH Ramban.
The order stated that the Committee shall submit its detailed report along with its specific recommendations to the office of the DM Ramban within a week.
It is pertinent to mention here that this step was initiated by Ramban district administration after a video went viral on social media in which one person made a claim that while travelling from Srinagar to Jammu his wife got some pain and he took her to the DH Ramban where he had to take medicines from outside as the same were not available at the hospital.
