JAMMU, Aug 20: Government today formed a committee for reviewing and monitoring the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the Order, Administrative Secretary of Finance Department will be the chairman of the Committee while Director General Rural Sanitation J&K will be its member secretary.
Administrative Secretary of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department and Directors of Rural Development Departments of both Jammu and Kashmir regions shall be members of the Committee. “Further, the Committee may co-opt any other member,” the Order stated.
