Committee to look into Food Security Act implication in J&K

JAMMU, Aug 6:  To look into the financial implications and implementation issues of the National Food Security Act 2013 in Jammu and Kashmir, the State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of a High Power Committee.
The committee, headed by Administrative Secretary Planning & Development Department as its Chairman, will have Administrative Secretary CAPD as member secretary and Administrative Secretary  of Finance Department as well as Administrative Secretary Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs as members.
The committee shall look into the financial implications and implementation issue of the National Food Security Act with respect to census figures of 2011. It shall also look into the entire gamut of allied activities and institutional changes that need to be put in place in the next three months for implementation of the National Food Security Act 2013.
