JAMMU, Apr 28: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted an Inter-Departmental Coordination Committee (IDCC) for recommending policy reforms for implementing Digital Communication Readiness Index (DCRI) in the Union Territory.
Headed by Chief Secretary, J&K as the Chairman, the committee shall undertake initiatives for implementing DCRI framework and recommend policy reforms in J&K. It shall conduct quarterly review of progress on the implementation of DCRI framework.
Secretaries of various departments, including Industries & Commerce, PDD, H&UDD, School Education Deptt, RDD, IT Dept and H&ME are member of the committee while CEO JaKeGa-Information Technology Department is the member secretary.
