Committees for management of Human-Wildlife conflict in Ladakh

JAMMU, Apr 16: For management of Human-Wildlife conflict in Ladakh, the Administration of UT of Ladakh today ordered constitution of a UT Level Inter Departmental Coordination Committee and District Level Inter Departmental Co-ordination Committee for Leh and Kashmir districts.
Headed by Advisor Ladakh as the Chairman, the UT Level committee is comprising of members, including Administrative Secretaries of Home, Finance, revenue, Forest, PWD, PDD, Sheep & Animal Husbandry, ADGP Ladakh, Chief Conservator of Forest, Chief Wildlife Warden and DCs of Leh and Kargil.
The District Level committee shall be headed by the respective DC and comprising of SSP, DFO, Executive Engineer R&B, Xen PDD, Xen, PHE, District Animal Husbandry Officer and Wildlife Warden as the Members.
