CHENNAI, Dec 21: Barring thoor dal, prices of other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week ending here today.
On Monday, thoor dal opened at Rs 7,000 per quintal, Rs 100 down from its previous week’s rate, and closed the week at the same rate.
However, urad dal (Rs.6,900),moong dal (Rs.8,600), Gram dal (Rs.3,900), sugar(Rs.2,950), wheat (Rs.2,400), maida (90 kg)(Rs.2,450) and sooji (90 kg)(Rs.2,600) remained steady throughout the week. (AGENCIES)
