JAMMU, Apr 16: To enquire into the complaints of sexual harassment against women employees of the Civil Secretariat, the State Government has re-constituted the Complaint Committee in this regard.
The committee, headed by Commissioner Secretary Higher Education, Sarita Chauhan shall submit its report to the GAD on each complaint of sexual harassment. It will also submit quarterly/annual reports to the GAD about the total number of complaints received, enquired and action taken on the same.
Members of the committee, include; Shabnam Kamili, Special Secretary Agriculture Production; Nuzhat Shah, Section Officer Information Technology Department; representative of an NGO and any other person, co-opted by the Chairperson.
