JAMMU, May 7 : The irate residents of Lane 5, 4 and 3 of Ganga Nagar and Bharat Nagar held a demonstration today and warned to resort to agitation from tomorrow in case the immediate steps were not taken by the PDD authorities to install the transformer in their localities.
The protestors alleged that the local transformer installed by the PDD in the area had developed a sang over a week back and since then thrice transformers were replaced one after the other but they could not function more than few hours putting the people to lot of trouble.
The residents in al appeal to MoS Power Vikar Rasool sought his immediate intervention and demanded that a new transformer be installed in the area which can with stand the load of these colonies failing which they will resort to agitation.
