Computer coaching prog inaugurated

LEH, Nov 19: The Councilor, Diskit, Tsewang Rigzin, today inaugurated a two months basic computer coaching program for about 20 adolescent girls at KAWA Institute, Diskit.
The program was conducted under SAVLA scheme through ICDS Department.
Emphasising on the importance of having computer knowledge in the present scenario, Rigzin, stressed upon the trainees to take the computer training seriously and urged them to go for higher degrees in computer education after completion of basic training.
The CDPO, Nubra,  Zarina Bano, staff of CDPO, Nubra and computer instructor were also present on the occasion.
In the meantime, Rigzin also inspected the Girls Middle School, Diskit and interacted with teachers and the students.
For renovation work of the building of the school, Rigzin committed funds under his Constituency Development Fund.
