Please refer to the news item “Modi Govt concerned for welfare of Dalits: Sat” DE Sept 10, 2016.
As claimed by BJP state President Sat Sharma that Modi Govt is concerned for the welfare of the dalits is totally wrong and irrelevant in the present scenario both at State level as well as National level. The learned leader used the word Dalit for SC which is unconstitutional. BJP did not show any concern about its stand on reservation in promotion. Atrocities towards the reserved category people has increased even in this state during BJP rule. Major chunk of SC, ST are illiterate they don’t have access to the welfare policies meant for them. If he and his team is really concerned about the welfare of the downtrodden and even the general masses then the Govt. should disseminate each and every micro and major scheme of the Govt. through loud speakers and door to door campaign by the Govt. officials of the concerned departments. The Govt. needs to set the target for such officials for attracting maximum number of people for availing welfare schemes. This would definitely bring revolution in the economic development of these people and we will notice a sea change in their economic conditions and living standards.
