Concern over community spread of COVID

KISHTWAR, Oct 11: With the community spread of Corona virus the Senior Citizens Council of District Kishtwar has appealed the people to observe all the guidelines and SOPs issued by the Government for their safety and security.
The Council in a meeting here, today said it is very serious threat to all as increasing the number of Covid-19 patients in this area is mainly due to negligence as people are not following the health care protocol and are not taking the terrible viruses seriously. Council appealed to general public to follow guidelines and SOPs for their own safety as well as safety of their family members, relatives, friends and others in the society. Moreover it is also duty of the social organisations, religious organisation & NGO’s etc fully awaken the public about the pandemic and safety measures taken.
“We all should take every possible steps to defeat this virus and prevent further damage. Every body is fully aware of this fact that there is no permanent treatment or any kind of vaccine prepared so people should maintain social distancing and take other measures for safety as it is an old saying that “Prevention Is Better Than Cure”, said Roshan Lal Parihar its president.
He urged the people to maintain social distancing, wear face mask in proper way and not keep them hanging over the ears, avoid spitting and personal hygiene should be maintained roaming in the crowded places and unnecessary marriage parties should be avoided and people should not hesitate from medical checkup.
The Council said district administration and other front line warriors are playing wonderful role with their noble profession for maintaining overall control and supervision also regarding availability of essential items in the market. It is matter of great joy that three officers hailing from Kishtwar have come forward voluntary to help the Covid-19 patients.
