Concern over delaying blacktopping of roads in Durga Nagar

JAMMU, July 9: Durga Nagar Welfare Committee held a meeting today under the chairmanship of its president, Roshan Lal Raina in which various issues confronting the people in the area were highlighted by Ravinder Bakshi its chairman.
The meeting expressed grave concern that the pre mixing work despite the approval of Commissioner JMC has not been taken up in hand till date with the result the people are facing problems. It said besides, the Chief Engineer R&B had approved the premixing of roads in the area with width of more than five meters but the concerned officers have failed to start the work. The meeting sought immediate intervention of Advisor in this regard.
The meeting also appealed Advisor to LG Baseer Ahmed Khan to fill up the vacant post of DC Relief In Kashmir and ACR in Relief Office Jammu as the due to the shortage of the staff in the organization the routine work gets hampered. The meeting also urged the Chief Secretary to fill up these posts at an earliest.
The meeting was also addressed by Mahraj Krishan Raina, Avtar Krishan Dhar, Makhan Lal Bhat, Badri Nath, Bansi Lal , C L Zutshi, G L Sawhney, Ashok Kumar, Nanai Ji , Bushan Lal Koul and Bharat Bushan Gosani.
