JAMMU, Oct 8: Expressing grave concern over the increasing power cuts especially in the night hours during this Navratra Festival when people are organizing the Jagratas at different places BJP leader and ex Corporator Omi Khajuria urged the authorities to ensure round the clock power supply during the festival days.
He also criticized the PDD for enforcing 9 to 10 hour power cut in metered areas especially in Muthi and Barnai when the department had assured that no power cut will be enforced in the areas where electronic meters are installed.
Khajuria warned PDD that in case the problem was not settled and the metered areas were not provided with round the clock electricity people will come to streets.
