JAMMU, Apr 29: Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh Samaj Sudhar Forum which held a meeting with ICDS authorities expressed concern over failure of Government to provide due attention to Anganwadi centers in the State.
It said the ICDS sans proper staff to monitor functioning of Anganwadi centers and officers.
It said no proper mechanism has been adopted to aware the Anganwadi workers and helpers belonging from villages and remote area about life insurance schemes, no provision of conveyance is provided to Anganwadi workers for carriage of nutrition and no headway has been made in filling up of vacant posts.
