JAMMU, Dec 16: All India Confederation of SC, ST, OBC Organisations here today organized a social justice get together.
Dr Anju Bala, Ex. MP; Member National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Kaushal Kumar; A.K Sahu, Directors NCSC and B.K Bhola, private secretary to Dr Anju Bala participated in the event.
On this occasion Dr. Anju Bala, who is also daughter of the soil, was felicitated with memento, shawl and bouquet.
R.K Kalsotra, J&K president of Confederation submitted memorandum of demands to Anju Bala demanding restoration of reservation in promotions, clearance of backlog, shifting Director Office of NCSC at Chandigarh and Regional Office for that at Jammu, age relaxation in government recruitment examinations for SC, ST and OBC, renewed counseling, implementation for 27 per cent reservation for OBC as per Mandal Commission report etc.
Shah Mohammad, Chairman Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust also spoke on the occasion.
Various other organizations also felicitated Dr. Bala and presented their memorandum to her.
Ramesh Uttma, Senior JKAS officer, presented the vote of thanks.
