Conferences across J&K to mark 75 yrs of ABVP

JAMMU, Jan 4: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad will organise conferences in every district of J&K as well as Ladakh to mark the 75 years of foundation of ABVP, which if the biggest student organization of world.
This was informed by ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary Akshi Billowria, while addressing a press conference at the Vidyarthi Bhawan, Amphala, here today.
“This year is the 75th year of Vidyarthi Parishad, so on this Amrit Mahotsav, the Parishad will set a target to reach every student of the society. This year ABVP will hold big conventions in each district of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh,” she said.
The district conferences will be organized from Swami Vivekananda Jayanti on January 12v till January 30 and the ABVP school units, college units, university students and from all professional level educational institutions will participate in these conferences, said Akshi Billowria, adding that nearly 25 thousand students will participate in the 24 organisational district conventions.
The ABVP leader said that these conferences are being organized to communicate the feelings of organization and national interest among the students. In these district conferences, resolution related to educational and social problems in the concerned district will be presented, she added.
State Joint Secretary Chahat Anand and Jammu Mahanagr Mantri Hari Om were also present in the press conference.
