JAMMU, Nov 29: Anurag Singh Thakur, In-charge of Jammu and Kashmir DDC elections and Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, today said that Corrupt Gupkar and Congress have forged a cheater-gang to gain power in J&K and Congress is all set to fail Gupkar in UT after finishing rest all parties in other states of India.
Anurag Thakur while addressing election rallies in Gajansoo and Marh today said, “Congress party is the only political party in country whose focus is not on winning elections but to beat its own allies. In every other State, where Congress leadership has contested the elections, they crushed all hopes of their alliance parties to win those elections.” The Congress party is now moving from being a B team to a C team, which no one is willing to embrace. The Congress and its leaders across the country are not leaving any opportunity to embarrass the Congress workers by their performance. In Jammu and Kashmir too, they have under the table alliances with the Gupkar Alliance. The corrupt Gupkarians and the Congress are forming a `cheater-gang’ to gain power in Jammu. The same juggling of Gupkar with the Congress is going to fail it in these DDC elections,” he added.
Speaking further, Anurag Thakur said, “The party which does not have any internal democracy in its organization, and now only because of electoral politics, how can it claim to defend the democracy? For us, power is only a way to do service, that is why, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the BJP is now the largest political party in world. The people of the country are no longer seeing the Congress party as any option, which is ‘one-line conclusion’ of the results of not only Bihar Assembly elections but also by-elections in all other states. Bihar Assembly elections, in which Congress won 19 seats out of 70 seats; it dashed the hopes of ‘Grand Alliance’ to enjoy the power. In Uttar Pradesh by-elections, they got less than two percent of the votes, in Gujarat by-elections the security of 3 candidates was forfeited; claiming to win all 28 seats in the Madhya Pradesh by-elections, Congress was reduced to just nine seats, the Congress lost all five seats in Manipur. The clear message is that the people have completely rejected Congress and its alliance partners and the same is going to repeat in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, the Congress is all set to fail Gupkar in J&K after finishing rest all parties in other states of India, he said.
BJP chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi, former Minister and DDC candidate, Chander Prakash Ganga, Adv. Abhinav Sharma, Narain Singh, Ajay Pargal, Rajinder Singh Chib and other senior leaders also accompanied Anurag Thakur in the rallies.
