SAMBA, Apr 22: Holding Congress responsible for the plight of the citizens in the country, Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP candidate for Jammu-Reasi constituency and BJP vice-president, Surjit Singh Salathia, said that it always betrayed people’s mandate as dynastic politics and corruption had been priorities in their policies. They were addressing public meetings at Bari Brahmana, Gurha Slathia and adjoining areas. Jugal Kishore Sharma said that although Congress was in power at the Centre and in the State for long years, it never displayed sincerity in serving the people and mitigating their problems. Congress always indulged in promoting the Nehru-Gandhi family and encouraging corruption at different levels. He said that the Congress leaders could easily do whatever they wished only because there was no one to oppose their acts or counter their fake narratives.
“With the passage of time things have changed with BJP having emerged as a strong political force and its leader Narendra Modi assuming chair of PM, the Congress is finding it difficult to remain relevant and its leaders are making failed attempts to survive but won’t succeed”, Jugal said and added that the lotus is set to bloom with full majority in Lok Sabha polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
Surjeet Singh Salathia said that the Congress leaders are still daydreaming to regain faith of the people but it is not possible in an era where the modern and easily accessible means of communication keep people updated on all subjects. No party can take it granted to mislead the people any more now and the Congress leadership should digest this hard reality that people want work in practical instead of mere pleasing slogans.
Both, Jugal and Salathia, assured the people that their vote in favour of BJP would mean that there is still need of more work in different sectors and the party assures to keep the wheel of development moving with fast pace.
Party leaders Former Minister Chander Prakash Ganga, DDC Sudershan Singh and others also accompanied the BJP candidate and also sought support for lotus.
