JAMMU,Apr 13: PCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma has taken strong exception to the deliberate attempts by certain quarters to distort facts about his stand on the gruesome incident of rape and murder of a minor girl at Rasana in district Kathua.
Reacting to such attempts by certain quarters to malign his image and that of the party for the secular values which are core of his ideology and his party, he reproduced his statement of February 17, carried by leading media organizations in order to question critics and said that he had rather appealed to the people to have faith in the institution and share any valuable information with them to facilitate the investigation agency.
He reiterated that this stand always remained undiluted throughout and the party always stood for justice to the victim and exemplary punishment to the culprits and the law should take its own course.
