Cong appoints Coordinators for 5 J&K LS seats

SRINAGAR, Jan 7: Ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha elections, All India Congress Committee today announced Coordinators for five Lok Sabha seats of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Party sources said that senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Monga has been appointed coordinator for Baramulla seat, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar for Srinagar, Yogesh Sawhney for Anantnag-Rajouri, Ravinder Sharma for Udhampur and Naresh Gupta for Jammu seat.
It may be recalled that during last Lok Sabha polls, National Conference won all the three seats of Kashmir defeating Peoples Conference in Baramulla, People’s Democratic Party and Congress in Anantnag. PDP had finished at third place in Anantnag Lok Sabha segment. Both the seats of Jammu were grabbed by BJP. Meanwhile, Capt Tsephel has been appointed Coordinator for Ladakh LS seat.
