JAMMU, Aug 29: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has claimed that the Government had assured the people of J&K that after abrogation of Article 370 Mandal Commission report will be implemented for OBC and reservation in promotion will be there for SCs but now the people come to know that such promises were false and to befool them.
This was stated by Charanjit Chalotra, BSP J&K vice president at a function organized by BSP in which many leaders of different political parties joined BSP to strengthen it and its ideology.
Chalotra further said that earlier the people of J&K saw the rule of Congress and now that of BJP.
He claimed that both these parties never worked for uplifting poor masses but rather they worked for big corporate houses of the country.
He said that prices of essential commodities are increasing day-by-day and the Government is doing nothing to control them.
“Now the people of J&K want some alternate to these parties which the BSP will provide,” the BSP leader claimed adding that this time BSP will form a Government in J&K to fulfill aspirations of people.
On this occasion many people joined BSP and they were welcomed into the Party by BSP leader Chalotra.
The new entrants were Subash Chander, Prem Nath, Tarsem Lal, Ram Lal, Ram Paul and Madan Paul.
Others present on the occasion were Pritam Chand, general secretary; Hari Chand, general secretary; Darshan Rana, senior BSP leader; Tarsem Lal, Pushap Kumar and Tilak Raj.
