KISHTWAR, Nov 21: Congress candidate from Kishtwar, Nek Ram Manhas along with senior party leader Shamsher Singh Bhandari addressed election meetings at Palmar, Pati Mohalla and Ikahla and appealed people to vote in his favour to strengthen the hands of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Addressing the meeting Mr Bhandari recalled the three years rule of Ghulam Nabi Azad and said that the State was put on the path of development and the work culture was established in the Government offices. However soon after his Government every thing came to stand still and there was nothing like accountability in the State.
He appealed the people to give massive mandate to the Party so that it can form the Government on its own to fulfill the Naya Jammu Kashmir dream of people.
He also cautioned the people from the divisive forces and urged them to strengthen the secular forces in the State.
Farooq Ahmed Tapal, Tilak Raj Shan, Mohammed Rafiq Bhat and Nissar Ahmed Mir also addressed the meetings.
