JAMMU, Mar 20: Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, AK Sahu, who happened to be the Returning Officer for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, has ordered an inquiry into alleged violation of Model Code of Conduct by Congress candidate Madan Lal Sharma during filing of nomination papers today.
Mr Sharma had brought a large number of vehicles carrying his supporters, which had been parked at entire Fly Over bridge and other places leading to massive jam in the City.
When contacted, Mr Sahu said he has received telephonic complaints on violation of MCC by the Congress candidate.
“I have ordered an inquiry into the complaint. The videos and pictures of the vehicles are being viewed. Action will be taken on receipt of the inquiry report,” he added.
