Cong delegation meets DC Samba

SAMBA, Sept 12: Congress party delegation today called on Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Rohit Khajuria in his office chamber here and discussed the problems faced by the people on account of power and water crisis in the district especially the border villages.
Earlier a large number of Congress workers assembled in DC Office complex Samba under the leadership of Parkash Chand Sharma, former MLA Samba and raised their demands.
Later they met with Deputy Commissioner Samba, Rohit Khajuria and apprised him that the unscheduled power cuts continue in Samba during the hot Summer days and it has also affected the water supply in the district especially border villages.
The delegation said due to this the people are facing lot of problems. The delegation also demanded the fast track work on Sumb road, widening of tehsil office road towards Swarg Dham Samba, functioning of Filtration Plant of Chichi Mata temple Samba and construction of Chak Dam in hilly areas.
Deputy Commissioner, Samba listened their grievances and assured them, the problem will be resolved as soon as possible.
Sanjeev Sharma (Org) Secretary JKPCC and Waryam Chaudhary, block president, Samba, Devraj block president, Nud, Harnam Chand Bhagat and Vinay Bhushan were the other members of the delegation.
