SRINAGAR: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Congress called on Governor Satya Pal Malik on Tuesday and put forth the party’s concerns relating to the upcoming panchayat and urban local bodies polls in the State.
The delegation, led by party State president G A Mir, met Malik at the Raj Bhavan here. The members expressed their concerns and shared their views on various aspects of these elections, an official said.
A Congress spokesperson, meanwhile, said the party held meetings on Tuesday to discuss about the participation in the polls. “Another meeting will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) after which the party will announce its decision.” (AGENCIES)
