JAMMU, Sept 12: A delegation of Congress Committee, Jammu Urban, led by its president and Ex-MLA Om Chopra today met Executive Engineer, PDD and discussed many issues including irregular power supply.
The delegation apprised the Executive Engineer that the most of the electric cables in Jammu West Constituency have worn out and needed immediate replacement. The issue of nuisance of High Tension wire in Bhagwati Nagar was also discussed in the meeting.
The Officer assured the delegation of remedial measures at the earliest. However, orders for laying of shield at Bhagwati Nagar were issued on the spot.
SS Shingari, Sukhdev Choudhary, Kirtan Singh, ML Malagar, PS Chouhan, VK Sethi and Vijay Magotra were part of the delegation.
