JAMMU, Mar 4: Taking a dig at the Congress for day dreaming of any miracle in the upcoming elections, Jammu and Kashmir BJP general secretary and former Minister, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, today said that dreams of this party will shatter in LS elections. He said that dreams of only those political parties come true, which work on ground and not make false claims.
Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal was reacting to the claim of JKPCC president, Vikar Rasool that ‘Congress will win Jammu Lok Sabha seat with thumping majority’. He said that the Congress leaders should make such statements after being properly acquainted with the ground realities. The statement is contrary to the real situation, which indicates that the Congress and other parties will face humiliating defeat as the BJP is going to win the Jammu LS and other seats with record number of votes this time.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that the BJP has reached at the doorsteps of the people with its report card of ten years, wherein, the J&K UT too, like other parts of the country, has scaled new heights in development and public welfare.
“Remote controlled Congress-led UPA under Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, ruled the country from 2004 to 2014 and BJP- led NDA under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, served the country from 2014 onwards”, Manyal said and added that a comparison between the two governments’ achievements will make even a lay man to accept that Modi’s model of governance has been best in all matters and that the BJP should be voted overwhelmingly to give pace to the development.
Dr. Manyal said that for the first time, Jammu & Kashmir, got adequate share in the development projects and welfare schemes from any Government at the Centre, and, the discrimination with Jammu has been removed. J&K got two AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Bio-tech Park, medical collages at district levels, better and modern facilities of road, rail, air connectivity, reservation to OBCs, STs and also the economically weaker sections, he added.
