Cong expels Gulzar Khatana

SRINAGAR, Sept 5: Indian National Congress today expelled a party leader from the basic membership of the Congress Party.
In a statement issued to the Press, the JKPCC spokesperson declared that the party has expelled Ch. Gulzar Khatana from the basic membership of the party, with immediate effect.
He said Khatana has filed nomination papers from 42-Kokernag (ST) Assembly segment “as Independent candidate” against the spirit of alliance. JKPCC spokesperson emphasized that the Party would not tolerate any breach of alliance unity.
