JAMMU, Jan 19: National Conference (NC) will emerge as the single largest party in the forthcoming Assembly elections and form the next Government of its own in the State.
This was stated by National Conference leader Mir Sajjad Shaheen while referring to a statement of PCC leaders who claimed that NC has lost its base in the State.
He said that the Assembly polls would mark the ‘Waterloo’ phase for Congress in J&K because leadership of this party is exposed before the masses for promoting corruption and nepotism in the State.
He said NC has passed through many difficult times but emerged victorious every time. “There are elements who want to weaken the party but always fail in their nefarious designs because the people of the State have always stood with the NC and have given befitting reply to those forces whose aim is only to gain political power,” he added.
