Cong extends full support to Samba Bar

JAMMU, Sept 2: Congress Party has extended support to the Samba Bar Association for its struggle against the Police authorities.
In a joint press statement Ravinder Sharma, PCC chief spokesperson and former minister & president DCC Samba, Manjit Singh have extended full support to the agitating lawyers of Bar Association Samba against high handedness of Samba Police.
In a joint statement, the senior Congress leaders have lashed out at the misbehavior of the local police against the lawyers at Samba leading to genuine protest by the legal fraternity. They supported the cause of the lawyers and sought appropriate action against the guilty. They termed it unfortunate that members of legal fraternity who fight for the rights of Common people, have been framed and booked in a false case. Manjit Singh visited the BAR Association Samba and assured full support to them.
Meanwhile, PCC Legal Cell has also condemned the police mis-behaviour with the members of Legal fraternity at Samba. Chairman of Legal Cell KK Pangotra Advocate, Ch. Shah Mohammad Adv, Convenor and general secretary PCC, Advocate, MK Bhardwaj, VK Maggoo, MP Gupta, Ajay Bakshi, Kamal Mangotra, Bhavishya Soodan and other senior members have extended their full support to the lawyers & sought action against the guilty.
